Why Biopolin®?

Effective pollination of crop flowers is an important, often decisive factor in the realization of good yields from crops. Most crops need pollination by another flower or plant, i.e. cross -pollination. Most of those crops are entomophilic plants, which need the presence and sufficient activity of pollinating insects for a good pollination. Standard cultivation processes, such as strengthening the fertility of the soil, fertilization, chemical protection, stimulating growth, will not guarantee that the yield potential of crops will be fully used if the flowers are not pollinated properly. The benefits of supporting crop pollination are indisputable.

The steady decrease in the bee population, which pays a risk for the natural pollination process of crops, is a rapidly growing worldwide problem. The problem must be tackled to maintain sufficient agricultural and horticultural yields. This is crucial since about 1/3 of global food production depends on pollinating insects.
